Mark is the Managing Principal of Spiers & Associates. He is a Sales and Marketing executive and leader, business strategist, change agent and wordsmith with over 30 years of experience. He helps business owners, boards and their management teams to quickly and cost-effectively achieve business goals and personal success through consulting projects and interim management assignments. Mark is dedicated to ethical business practices, excellence and client profitability through collaboration, communication and team-building. Mark listens well and focuses strategically, keeping solutions simple and pragmatic. He changes attitudes and behaviors, leveraging expertise and leadership experiences to achieve goals.

After an early career path in residential remodeling, Mark transitioned into sales and marketing management in the commercial printing industry, and then later managing marketing in a $250 million building products manufacturer. He later set sales records for industrial service firms and held VP, GM, project management and business unit management positions with commercial contractors with revenues up to $100 million, leading revenue growth averaging over 80% per year.

Mark sits on non-profit boards and is a Planning Commissioner in Greenwood, Minnesota. Personal passions include golf, camping in the Boundary Waters and traveling with his wife Susan.
